Hi folks... There's a brand new noize disk! From US! Ah Yeah!
First of all we wanna thank you for buying this lill' thingy.

Because we released a lot of stuffies in Zandvoort, we hadn't
got enough time to develop GFX. That's why we used a flat-bed
scanner on a Magic: The Gathering magazine called The Duelist.

The reason why we released this disk is very simple: There's
never been a Noize Disk on MSX which contains more than 75
percent of alternative Noize. There was always House (you
know, those distorted sounds created by death brains).
Only Compjoetania released some Noizes which were little
heavy. And because there are also metal freaks on the MSX
scene, we couldn't refuse to create this stuffy.

Now the stuff we used during the development of Alto...

Some info 'bout the present songs:
              ----------------------------------

Amazed:
-------
Original composed by The Offspring. Taken from the album Ixnay
on the Hombre.
Arranged by Near Dark.
Are you also amazed? This track sound cool, eh?

Elanor (Bonus track #1)
------------------------
Original composed by The Gathering. Taken from the album
Mandylion.
Arranged by Near Dark.
Note: Not the complete song was arranged because MBWAVE has
less patterns.
Earlier released on Trilogy, but rereleased with better stereo
presets for better sound. And it's a piece of hardrock, so it
can be placed on such a disk.

The Mirror waters (Bonus track #2)
----------------------------------
Original composed by The Gathering. Taken from the album
Always...
Arranged by Near Dark.
Earlier released on Trilogy, but rereleased with better in-
struments and better echo-fx in the 'Drawbar-organ-solo'.
Because it's a great metal-song, we chose for a rerelease.

Close but far away
------------------
Original Near Dark track.
This song's name comes from the depressing feeling when some-
thing/someone is so close, but you can't reach it/her/him.

Darkness
--------
Original Near Dark track.
Maybe not installed in the replayer, but as disk-filler it may
be placed. Not the best song ever written, but take a look at
it, it might be interresting for people who can't even make
this low-level-noize.
The title explains dark feelings, depressed minds. Shit hap-
pens!

Complete emptyness
------------------
Original composed by Near Dark. Rearranged for OPL4.
This title says more than words. See for yourself... It's sad,
that's all we can/may tell you.

An ordered falling star
-----------------------
Original Near Dark track.
Composed in a period when all seemed to go well. Sometimes
falling stars appear on very pleasant moment. Thank God!

Folk of the North
-----------------
Original composed by Amorphis. Taken from the E.P. Black win-
ter day.
Arranged by Near Dark.
Listen! It sounds great. No difference with the original! MSX
rules!

Drowned maid
------------
Original composed by Amorphis. Taken from the album Tales from
the thousand lakes.
Arranged by Near Dark.
The only thing missing, is the grunt voice...

Gone away
---------
Original composed by The Offspring. Taken from the album Ixnay
on the Hombre.
Arranged by Near Dark.
This kind of songs are masterpieces to arrange. It's a simple.

So, Now you know it!
--------------------
Original Near Dark track.
Very good use of Panflute's and shakkuhachie's.
This song's got that weird little title because the code mes-
sage in the original title explains something (this code is
taken away, happy code hunting!!!)

Love "JO" to death
------------------
Original composed by Type O Negative. Taken from the album
October Rust.
Arranged by Near Dark.
The real title of this masterpiece (the original) is Love you
to death, but the arranger had to replace some little thingy.

Magic and mayhem
----------------
Original composed by Amorphis. Taken from the album Tales from
the thousand lakes.
Arranged by Near Dark.
This is one of the best songs on Tales from the 1000 lakes.
Unhappily this one is not really cool arranged.

Stonegarden
-----------
Origninal composed by The Gathering. Taken from the album
Always...
Arranged by Near Dark.
Some parts were cut away, because without the original vocals,
the arrangement might get boring. So, this is a shorter edit.
Not the complete song in instrumental shape, so you can't use
it for Karaoke. You should edit the song by yourself.

Tears
-----
Original Near Dark track.
Everybody got his own feelings. Don't be ashamed to express
your emotions.

Black winter day
----------------
Original composed by Amorphis. Taken from the Album Tales from
the thousand lakes and also from the E.P. Black winter day.
Arranged by Near Dark.
Amorphis is easy arrangable. Instrumental edits of their songs
aren't very hard to make. Some of their tunes are a little
more complex, but this one? Cool!

The Braveheart ("Happy" memory's)
---------------------------------
Original composed by those dudes from the movie Braveheart.
Souped up by Near Dark.
Pfew, it sounds a bit like the original, but we hadn't got the
original track on a tape, so there might be some differences.
This track is arranged because the movie is very good, and
some memories are stuck with it (very "Happy", but also sad).
The word "Happy" won't be explained; only the 'insiders' know
what/who/which/why "Happy" is.

A part of Moon and Sun Part II
------------------------------
Original composed by Amorphis. Taken from the E.P. Black
Winter Day.
Arranged by Near Dark.
Yeah, only a small part of the original Moon and Sun Part II
song. WHY!!!??? Just to keep a little more differences between
the number of songs on Alto. We took the metal part of this
song away and just arranged the end of it. This end is already
a cool song. Some other time we'll get the rest of the song
arranged, but not on Alto. Otherwise all songs will sound so
'all the same'...

Farewell
--------
Original Near Dark track.
Really weird use of chords. The title says: "Let your memories
go. Don't stick to them for your whole life. You make yourself
look like a fool. Let it go. Make live easier."

                         THAT'S THAT
