Dark Voyage aka Murphy's ultimate triumph
-----------------------------------------

Murphy did it again.
A disk crash a few weeks before the Fair screwed the main develop disk of Dark
Vogaye. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal, we aren't naive, so we had a
back-up disk. The problem started when the drive destroyed the back-up disk !!
Anyway, we had to reprogram the entire menu and extro in just a few weeks time.
This is why we had to re-use the old replayer we used in Calculus.
Alas this replayer is a little buggy, sometimes things go haiwired and some
registers don't get initialised right causing the song to start with
some channels giving a constant beep.

Just press F5, F4 to solve the problem.
Switch between MSX-Music, MSX-Audio or stereo using the other function keys.
You can toggle between PAL and NTSC using <SELECT>.

BTW Try <STOP>!

The extro does some own 'memory management', so it isn't possible to leave the
extro without crashing your system. Instead of pressing <ESC> to leave the menu
and go to the extro you can press <SHIFT>+<ESC> to leave the menu and get back
to your regular working system.
We used the same routines like we did for Calculus :-)

A special thanks to the following people for making a contribution

And what about our next product ??
If you were at the fair you should have noticed we are working at a
Puzzle Bobble clone for the MSX. The game will definitely be available
at the fair at Zandvoort.
If you are interested in making some levels, some graphics or some background
music, contact us.
We have no official address for the moment but contact us at the Net:

We have a newly produced version of DV.
Due to some timing problems with the VDP commando's
and a slight difference between the time-diagrams of
a V9938 and a V9958 some none modified MSX-2 had a nasty
to trace scramble-effect.

We also enhanced the phong-routine at the end.
Now you can leave this demopart with the ESC-button
(if you didn't use the bootsector way of starting.)

While we were rewriting the other parts of the
code we also took some time to rewrite the bios.
Now you have a nice little lib-file and the music is
still accessible for other programs.
