This is our first real game released on MSX...

We released it in the year of 1994 if I am correct. We started developping
the game somewhere in 1990, so as you can see, we took quite some time creating it... !!!!

This game is about a small birdy that has to rescue some Eggies. It's a kind
off classic Platform game. It features STEREO MSX-Music/MSX-Audio tracks of course
written again in Pro-Tracker by TYFOON SOFTWARE

The screenshot you see here, is from the pratice level.

Here are some ingame screenshots from Eggbert. The pictures are from:

-Forrest Level
-Bubbels Level

And some more... yes.. We want to get you enthousiastic !!! These pictures are from:

-Chips Level
-Slime Level

This is from the Eggbert PROMO. This demo is completely written for SCREEN 3, and some
emulators hate this. On FMSXdos and RuMSX it works okay though. The demo is completely
animated, and very smooth. This just goes to show you don't need a 400 mhz PII system for nice anims...

Although the game itself is MSX-2 only, the promo also runs on a MSX 1 !!! (Try it !!!),
only the colours will look a bit strange... It does use the MSX-2 pallet. You really must
have a look at this promo.. It looks really cool !!!Run it from a ram-disk to make it really smooth !!!!

You need an MSX - 2 with at least 64kB of RAM and a MSX-Music or MSX-Audio

Release Date: somewhere 1994

Eggbert served as the inspiration for Toki Tori, a new game for the Game Boy Color.
It uses the same basics but delivers a vastly improved gameplay experience! You should
really take a look at this! Please check:
