Fony Demodisk #2

This is our biggest release on the MSX, concerning demos. This demos consists of TWO
double sided disks. It needs a MSX2 with 128 kb to run. In between demo's, there are
cool samples if you have inserted a music module !!! The best way to enjoy this demo
is to use both your FM-Pac and Music Module!

This was the introduction. In this part we introduce ourselves. The music in this
demodisk is completely written in Pro-Tracker. We also made an anti-fony demo... Why ???
Well... We didn't have anything else to do I guess... And why shouldn't we?

Of course we did some Nintendo bashing, which was quite normal those days, ans still is...
For some reason, the Playstation seems to be the one and only accepted machine for (ex-)MSX-ers.
Maybe because of the Konami games released on that platform. We also made a slide show in this
demo, for which we used GFX from an amiga. The Pretender wrote an util to convert the Amiga .IFF
format to the MSX.

Our disk-swap..... Well.. just guess where we took this from.... Ehmm... Amiga maybe ??? Nahhhhh....

This demo really opened the eyes of the world... If I may say so....

With this demo, FONY also went commercial, ofcourse. We saw the opertunity te make big bucks
when a very famous cigarette brand offered us large amounts of money. The other part you see on
the right is not worth mentioning. I made it. Although: It features quite a good conversion of
Bach Tocata En Fuga, also made by me!

This demo also featured a REAL amiga emulator... Still the best one ever seen on MSX !!!

In this demo, there was the first appearence of the FAF, the fedaration against FAC...
They became quite succesfull. On the right hand site, you see the first picture of a real cool
demo with digitised anim's, but I can't get any screenshots from it, so this will have to do...
You should really see this part !!! It's mega cool !!!

You need an MSX - 2 with at least 128kB of RAM

?? Release Date: somewhere in 1992 ??
