Micro Music version 3.1
-----------------------

Micro Music is a MEMMAN TSR that allows you to play music from
many MicroCabin games on the background, while you work in DOS
or BASIC. You can play music from the following list of Micro-
Cabin games, provided you first extract the music data:

Xak - Art of Visual Stage
Xak II - Rising of the Redmoon
Xak - The Tower of Gazzel
Fray - Magical Climax
Illusion City
Princess Maker
Big Strategy 2
The Tower of Cabin

Using Micro Music
-----------------

Since Micro Music is a MEMMAN TSR, you must load MEMMAN before
you can load Micro Music. To load MEMMAN just type 'MEMMAN' at
the DOS prompt. Depending on the version of MEMMAN you use, it
may or may not go to BASIC first. (In which case you will need
to type 'CALL SYSTEM' to return to DOS.) To load Micro Music,
just type 'TL MMUSIC31 at the DOS prompt.

Micro Music will look for any music data files (*.DAT), in the
directory it was started in. If you are using DOS2.xx, you may
specify in wich directory Micro Music should look by using the
environment string MMUSIC. By placing the line 'SET MMUSIC A:'
in your AUTOEXEC.BAT file, you will tell Micro Music to always
look for the data files in the root directory of drive A:. You
can of course specify any other directory as well.

After loading Micro Music, you can activate it by pressing the
keys SHIFT and SELECT simultaneously. This will show the Micro
Music main menu, in which you can use the following keys:

LEFT and RIGHT to select a song
UP and DOWN to select a different game
SPACE to start playing a song
SHIFT + CURSORS to move the menu
[I] to show the information screen
[O] to toggle music ON and OFF
[D] to change the current drive
TAB to change between 50Hz and 60Hz
ESC to close the Micro Music menu

Micro Music was written by Frits Hilderink, originally for MSX
Computer Club Enschede. MEMMAN was written by the MSX Software
Team, an MCM initiative. While both Micro Music and MEMMAN are
Public Domain, keep in mind that the original music data (DAT)
is still (C)opyright Micro Cabin and should not be distributed
along with this archive. Utilities are provided to extract the
music data from the original game disks.
